NHI ensures supportive needs are met and provides assistance and skill training to help individuals remain independent in their home environment and in the community. Skill training is provided in areas such as general housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, errands, meal preparation, medical appointments, etc. Physical and supportive needs include bathing, grooming, hygiene and assistance with ambulation.
