In 2019 unforeseen circumstances required NHI to relocate. NHI was faced with a unique challenge; relocate an operation that has served over three decades in a location specifically designed to serve persons with developmental disabilities. NHI rose to that challenge. The NHI Next Generation Project began and in August of 2019 NHI identified a building. NHI purchased the building at 12200 Upper Fredericktown Road, Mount Vernon in November of 2019. NHI successfully transitioned to their new building in April of 2020.
While we have made some great strides, NHI still has a lot to accomplish. Donor support to assist with building cost and necessary renovations will ensure operating revenues can continue to go toward program support and enhancement.
